Our hall can accommodate 148 people. The inside includes a commercial kitchen, a large hardwood floor (fab for dancing) and dimmable lights to perfectly set the atmosphere you want. For slide shows you can use our screen and projector. Included with your rental are our rectangle or round tables with plush chairs for your event. Optional chair covers offer an extra touch of elegance. Unlike many venues, you can choose your own caterers and beverage suppliers.

Pretty Gardens

Have your ceremony under the sun in our pretty gardens. From rhododendrons and daffodils in Spring to roses, dahlias, cleome and more in Summer, the grounds are pretty and get better every year. Surrounded by rolling hills, farmland and forest, an outdoor wedding service here is both picturesque and convenient. Steps away from the grounds is the hall with your dance floor, commercial kitchen and audio visual set up for slide shows.

Our Location

The Prospect Lake Community Hall is located about 20 minutes to downtown, or to the ferries and airport. It is a country venue just minutes to the city. We are close to hotels and B&Bs for out of town guests. Ample parking onsite makes things easy. As a bonus, cars can stay overnight if guests wish to catch a ride home with a designated driver. I’m happy to recommend the Prospect Lake Hall for a wedding. It looked surprisingly good with our decorations and it was super easy. I loved that we could use our own liquor supplier and caterer and that they have a big dance floor. It was casual but elegant which was what we were after. Also the price includes a lot of things that we’d be paying extra for at other places. I’m very glad we chose it for our big day.

Fab Country Venue!

This was a great venue for our wedding. We had a country theme and with a bit of help from Pinterest, family and friends it really looked very photogenic. Having an outdoor ceremony in the gardens and then heading indoors for the reception and dancing was very convenient. The dahlias in the garden in summer are gorgeous. I think everyone was happy and the photos turned out great.

Picturesque & Fun

I went to my friend’s wedding here and it was both picturesque and a lot of fun. She was pleased with the value, and her friends enjoyed both the outdoors and indoors there. It really did looked awesome with our decorations. It was a lovely ceremony outside where we also enjoyed some appies and champagne. Then on to the dinner and dancing. Definitely worth checking out if you are getting married or having a big party.

  • The Prospect Lake Community Hall gives you options for planning without the food or beverage contracts required by more formal venues.
  • Please note we do not rent to graduations, sports clubs or youth parties due to the location of our facility within a rural residential area.
  • Hall capacity is 148 people (per municipal by-law). Rentals with alcohol service are required to have Host Liability Insurance and a Special Occasion License.
