The Prospect Lake Community Hall is a beautiful and affordable wedding venue in Victoria BC. Our charming building has been updated and restored over the years and includes beautifully landscaped grounds and gardens with plenty of free parking for your wedding guests.

The hall has been fully upgraded and restored specifically with hosting weddings in mind. We have a nearly new commercial kitchen and a lovely upgraded washrooms with granite counters and beautiful lighting. We are not your typical community hall wedding venue! We recently painted the interior in a soft white. The perfect neutral backdrop for your wedding decorations and it looks great in wedding photos as well!

We are located just North of the City of Victoria in Saanich. Just East of Prospect Lake. Our extensive fenced and gated gardens are an ideal location for an outdoor ceremony in Spring through late Summer. You can have the reception indoors or outside with your catering located in the professional commercial kitchen. Another great advantage is the lake just down the road if you’d like some of your wedding photos on the dock next to the water. The views are amazing!

Inexpensive Country Wedding Venue

Our rates are some of the best you’ll find anywhere on Southern Vancouver Island. The perks just put it over the top. Your very reasonable fee for a Saturday wedding secures the property from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon. This means that you have plenty of time to set up for the wedding on Friday, or even host a dinner on Friday. You’ll have all Saturday morning to set up, a lovely afternoon ceremony, and dance the night away without having to worry about leaving the room clean by a certain time on Saturday night. In fact, you can then host a Sunday Brunch at the hall before packing up on Sunday afternoon!

Seasonal Rates for your Wedding

If you prefer an indoor wedding anyway, why not plan your nuptuals in the Winter when it tends to be rainy and our rates are even lower than in the high season? You’ll still be able to make full use of the commercial kitchen, enjoy the ‘Instagrammable’ interiors, and relax knowing that you’ve got the whole weekend to entertain your guests.
